Duties
 
Assists members of the public at service desks, Circulation, Youth Services, and Adult Services as needed.
 
Education/Experience
 
Required: High school diploma. Preferred: Additional education beyond high school; some experience working in libraries.
 
Hours
 
20 hours, generally between 9AM-5PM with alternating Saturdays and evenings until 7PM on a rotational schedule.

Compensation

Starts at $15.43/hour. Pro-rated benefits include paid vacation/sick leave/holiday/library floating holiday/personal holiday pay. Anticipated start date:  September 3, 2024.

Location

A two-time recipient of the Library of the Year Award from the Wisconsin Library Association, T. B. Scott Free Library is an architecturally stunning building on the Prairie River in Merrill, Wisconsin. Merrill is traditionally home to the Menominee, Ojibwe, and Ho-Chunk, and is the gateway to the Wisconsin Northwoods. The library provides service to the residents of the City of Merrill and the surrounding communities of Lincoln County, with a total service population of 21,000.
